There was once a little saying that brought it all home: You have to have goals, in order to accomplish them!
A little phrase that brings this home is: "You can't get what you want until you know what you want." This is so true in a sales professional's life.
Set those goals -- know what you want! Then, make them happen!
Call Reluctance
When you know you need to start prospecting on the phone or cold-calling on new prospects, yet you dread it to the core of your being -- the best way to get over it is to (as Nike used to say) Just Do It.
Making that first initial effort will get you started and from that one on -- it will be a breeze.
Make That Sale
There is absolutely no prospect out there that you can not get for your company.
The secret of the super star sales pros is that once they decide what prospect they want -- they stop at nothing until that prospect becomes a customer.
It may take time, it may take going above and beyond the norm; however, if you truly want a particular customer, you can do it.
